Enables companies to expand portfolios and deliver a proven collaboration suite

Hosters and IT resellers across Southeast Asia are now able to expand their portfolios and deliver a proven hosted email and collaboration suite to their end-users, with the announcement of a partnership between Zepto Consulting and Open-Xchange.

This latest partnership for Open-Xchange comes in response to Zepto Consulting’s customer demand for more affordable cloud-based communication and collaboration tool designed for business users. Zepto Consulting, which is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with a branch office in Singapore, will deliver OX Cloud across Southeast Asia.

OX Cloud is hosted and operated by Open-Xchange in geo-redundant data centers and offers end-users a full suite of secure communication and collaboration tools, including email, calendar, address book, tasks, and drive, along with security.

It enables businesses of all sizes – even those with little or no IT knowledge – to digitalize their business communications. And, as an open-source alternative to hyperscale software vendors, data protection and compliance are inherent in OX Cloud.

Jabez Gan, Technical Director at Zepto Consulting, said: “Our customers are searching for robust, reliable and a secure email and collaboration platform at an affordable price – something that’s not currently available from hyperscale vendors. Working with Open-Xchange, that’s exactly what we’ll be able to deliver with OX Cloud. In order to help customers migrate and onboard users, we will be making a significant investment to develop migration tools.”

David Poole, Regional Director APAC and Japan at Open-Xchange, said: “Opening up our highly secure cloud-based email platform to hosters and resellers across Southeast Asia through Zepto Consulting will not only help drive more effective communications with customers, partners, and colleagues, it will also open up new revenue streams for those companies offering it to end-users.”
