Boost your revenue with OX Display v1.4

A few weeks ago we introduced you to the three monetization solutions for OX products. Today we are pleased to announce the availability of a new version of one of those pillars: Open-Xchange has just released OX Display v1.4.

OX Display provides Telcos and Service Providers with a high potential opportunity to monetize OX products using advertising spaces within OX App Suite. It connects advertisers with the OX App Suite interface allowing you to publish non-intrusive yet effective ads. OX Display comes with various pre-defined ad formats like maxi ads, supreme ads, wallpapers and also IAB standard formats like skyscrapers, medium rectangles and mobile content ads. The default formats guarantee a fast market entry.

But of course, OX Display also supports individual customizations. Several ad spaces, sizes, reload and cool down timers are available and can be configured to meet your specific needs. OX Display can be connected to all common ad servers to make use of existing platforms. OX advertising specialists will support your individual installation, customization and configuration, either on-premise in your data centers or hosted by Open-Xchange with OX as a Service (OXaaS).

The new release of OX Display, version 1.4, comes with various adjustments to adapt the non-intrusive ad formats to the new look of OX App Suite v7.10. OX Display v1.4 is designed to work seamlessly with the latest OX App Suite design and displays advertising within all OX App Suite applications such as OX Mail, OX Calendar, OX Tasks, OX Portal, OX Documents and OX Drive.

All ad spaces (Leaderboard, Skyscraper) now come with margins around them. This makes the ads more visible and differentiates them from the application in use. It also ensures an uninfluenced, smooth usability for users.
Moreover, OX Display v1.4 allows the combination of leaderboard and skyscraper banners to a wallpaper in one ad space. It frames the OX App Suite user interface providing a very visible yet non-intrusive advertising format.

Finally, OX Display v1.4 leverages a “mail sent” pop-up, which informs users about a successfully delivered message. The included ad placement can now be closed more intuitively by either clicking on a clearly visible button or on any area outside of the pop-up.
