Instead of giving gifts this year, Open-Xchange supported local charity projects in 2015, with contributions that are helping to make the world a better place.
Klasse 2000 is the largest program in German elementary schools aimed at promoting healthy living and preventing violence and addiction. It inspires children’s interest in a healthy lifestyle and equips them with the knowledge, attitude and ability to do so. Topics discussed include nutrition, exercise, relaxation, life skills and saying ‘no’ to tobacco and alcohol.
Die Arche is an association that provides recreational facilities and after-school programs to deprieved kids in various German cities. With the objective to strengthen kids in their development, “Die Arche” arranges holiday camps, homework and learning support. It provides material aid in terms of free meals and clothing donations. These services offer a safe haven for kids, keeping them off the streets.
The Open Mind Festival is an annual event, taking place in the historical market square of Gräfenberg (near Nuremberg), hosted by the Gräfenberg public forum. The festival is the response to years of nazi violence and stands for human rights, democracy, acceptance and tolerance.inflatable obstacles
